In 1969, when I opened the practice, the City of Newburyport was in the midst of a renaissance - a time of renewal and development generated by exceptional individuals.
The profession of optometry has also experienced a renaissance due to the evolution of the scope of optometry, and the work of many associates. We are now the primary care providers of eye care services.
My career in optometry has been extremely gratifying, but it is now time to pursue new areas, and my wife and I will relocate to South Caroline in the near future.
Dr. Kevin Gasiorowski OD, purchased the practice eight years ago, and he has been the main inspiration for the addition of new services, equipment and direction. His knowledge, and dedication to the profession are exceptional, and his friendship so appreciated.
We have been so fortunate to have Dr. Susan Rzepka OD, who we hope will have a long future with the practice. We also plan to add another associate in the near future.
I certainly will leave the practice knowing full well that it is in good hands.
Finally, I will miss the people who have been so wonderful to me and my family and the "office family", whom I will always remember.
